RoadScan™ VEDR product details

•  RoadScan is a windscreen mounted Video Event Data Recorder. It continuously records (in colour) 20  seconds of activity in front of the vehicle. A single, road facing high quality camera operates day &  night.
•  When an incident occurs, caused by sharp breaking, rapid acceleration, excessive cornering or sudden  impact, RoadScan saves the recorded video of the 14 seconds immediately before and the 6 seconds  immediately after the incident.
•  This incident is downloaded into the RoadScan Event Review Software via a Memory Stick, or USB  cable, allowing it to be analysed in detail.
•  RoadScan has proved to be an effective aid to improving driver behaviour, monitoring and analysing  traffic incidents/accidents, reducing expensive unscheduled vehicle maintenance and improving fuel  consumption.
•  Driver training becomes more effective when the driving behaviour of your drivers is analysed by  reviewing the RoadScan video incidents highlighting specific behaviour patterns.
•  Recorded events can be converted to AVI format for distribution via email.
•  Fitting is straightforward and takes approximately 20 minutes.
